On Monday evening, September 20, 2010 at the age of 65 Bishop Kenneth Moales passed away. Bishop Moales just celebrated his 65th birthday Saturday with his church family and most recently delivered the eulogy for popular Gospel music singer Walter Hawkins earlier this year. He was known to be a man of great wisdom. He was the presider over the states of Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. He was also President of the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses, Inc. which recently celebrated their 77th year of Gospel music ministry. He was inducted into the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum for his many years of committed work in Gospel music.
Bishop Kenneth Moales, Sr. is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lady Peggy Ann Moales, three children, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
