Walking down the streets of Santiago on a sunny day in January . . .
Last January, my friends and I decided to spend the day together and visit The Cultural Center “La Moneda” Palace. At that time, it was exhibiting the Terracotta Army. I can just say that the exhibition was incredible, and also - in the same place - we found more exhibitions like Violeta Parra’s visual work and modern Chinese art. The quality of the exhibitions was amazing and we spent a great time that afternoon learning things and enjoying the exhibition, and all this for just five hundred Chilean pesos! Then we walked along the side-walk of Alameda Avenue in the direction of Santa Lucia Hill.
My intention with this article is to prove that in Chile, particularly in Santiago, you can have a great time and you do not need a lot of money. Also, it is a good opportunity to “get to know your city again”, because in the “everyday life” we do not always enjoy it.
