This unedited Google Earth photo shows the intersection of Earl Ave. & Glenview Dr. (pre-explosion) in San Bruno, California, ground zero of the PG&E gas pipeline explosion. Note what appears to be a diagonal asphalt patch in the intersection where it looks as if some excavation work was done there. But what is much more interesting to me is the white painted oval encircling the entire intersection outlining the exact location of the crater made by the explosion. This looks to me like a smoking gun PG&E will have to explain during the ongoing investigation.
