The vacation and holiday week continued last night 9.4.10, as I covered this incredible tribute band to the Rolling Stones, "Satisfaction", at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, CA (Near Palm Springs).
I have covered a lot of tribute bands at the world famous "Rock Yard" - where the music is allways free, the casino and resort are awesome, and the people are quite friendly indeed. Large concerts are held in the events center, for example while we were at the "Stones" concert, the classic rock star "Meat Loaf" was also in concert.
Now this show was the best tribute band I have ever seen - other than the great Prince tribute, "Purple Reign". The set list was awesome, it ranged from "Bitch" to "Satisfaction", and the sound was incredible!
This "Satisfaction" production has been running and touring since 2001, the performance has been featured in dozens of national newspapers, magazines and television ads as "The greatest show ever honoring the Rolling Stones".
The members of the band are: Chris LeGrand as Mick Jagger, Wade Fowler as Charlie Watts, Charlie Trader as Ron Wood, Tony Fortuna as Bill Wyman, and Jim Riddick as Keith Richards.
