A Clear Message To President Obama,

To President Obama,

Mr. President,

We, thousands of Egyptian youth with no hope for any future, are sure that you are fully aware of the atrocities committed, not every day, but perhaps every minute, by the Mubarak regime. We are also sure that you are fully aware of how your administration’s support for this brutal regime antagonizes the overwhelming majority of Egyptians. Dark forces in the Middle East play well on this feeling of frustration among Egyptians, especially the young, towards the US.

We would like also to assure you that, regardless of how supportive the US and Israel may be to Gamal Mubarak, the Egyptian people will never accept him at the helm after his father is gone. We realize that there are those in the US who think that the Mubarak dynasty can contribute to “peace and stability” in the Middle East, but, with all respect, this is utterly false. Why couldn’t’ Mubarak help “peace and stability” during his tenure of more than 30 years? We are afraid that days will prove to you that only conflict and instability will be the product of what is going on in Egypt right now-but then it may be too late.

We urge you, Mr. President, not to support and not try to give false credence to an Egyptian president who heads a regime of mere thugs and killers. With all respect, your administration’s discourse towards Egypt has lost much of its credibility, and we hope that your “yes we can” can make a reversal of this trend possible.

#Kind Regards.

Egyptian citizen

Thousands of such message will be sent to President Obama  and to the elite of the american comunity
