A picture can be worth a thousand words....
This is our daily life of airboats going up and down the river... along with the helicoptors overhead. While we appreciate the workers trying to do their jobs... we are tired of the boats and helicopters... the noise is annoying and a lot of the residents mention what a bad day it is .
One of the neighbors mentions that she is having a hard time breathing today... (yes she has a air purifier that is going red a lot today..) Another mentions the eye burning...
I call my neighbor Susan... she stays inside 24 / 7 due to heath reasons... even she is having a hard time.
Last night 3 of us passed out flyers for a meeting with a lawyer and that there is a meeting with the various goverment entities tonight in Marshall. I hope they are prepared... I have thought that a lot of people would not be going but it sounds like it will be a crowd. I will be there with my camera...
At one of the homes a woman in her 70 or 80's answered the door.. I handed her the flyers and asked how she was doing. I haven't had any problems except the burning eyes, headaches, and now I have a cough.. I ask her if she has an air purifier or if she has been to the doctor... no she hasn't. I suggest that she go see her doctor. I tell her that her garden is lovely.. she tells me her grandkids planted it for her... she says they want her to leave the park... But this is her home and she doesn't want to leave.
She doesn't think she will make the meeting... but the next door neighbor to her will. I think it is going to be a very interesting meeting...
