First of all, I am a resident of Hong Kong and I am really sorry for my broken English.
Let's get to the point, it has been almost 3 days since the hostage incident occured in Manila.
Investigation work has been started, however, as you can see on the photos that a lot of Phillipinoes were smiling at the camera and enjoying themselves. It is ridiculous that even police and the investigation team were involved in it.
I would really like to say: THAT WAS A SPOT WHERE A TRAGEDY HAPPENED BUT NOT A TOURIST ATTRACRION FOR YOU TO TAKE PHOTOS !!!
Police were even joining those people, i wonder if they really wanted to investigate and look into the detail of the case.
This definitely shows no respect and no guilty to the victim.
Other than that, i would like to talk about the bad attitude of the speech given by Aquino. He didn't show any concern to this incident and our chief executive couldn't contact him during the crisis.
During the press conference, he even compared this hostage incident with that happend in Russia, 2002.
We just couldn't believe that ! Everyone has common sense knows that these are 2 different cases that cannot be compared.
That happened in Russia involved a large group of terrorists with very strong weapons and it happened in a large theatre hall. But this time, it was just on a bus and the gunman was not terrorist. He just simply got a gun in his hand and that was all.
Aquino said that there were over hundreds of lives died in the hostage tragedy in Russia. Was he hinting that someone must have to sacrifice in such kind of cases? Or was he saying that it was fortunate that only 8 people dying this time and it was not something so serious? EVERY LIFE IS PRECIOUS. IT IS SO IRONIC TO HAVE THAT TWO BEING COMPARED!
According to the survived hostages, they said the gunman had no intention to kill them. He even didn't confiscate their personal items and give them food.
IT WAS THE SWAT THAT TURNED HIM MAD!
Not only that, if you refer to the last photo I uploaded, it seems that the SWAT were diliberately smashing the windows where the paper(written by the gunman) was posted.
There have been rumors going around, saying that the gunman has once posted a note about the actual corruption situation and claimed that he would leak this great secret to the whole world. Some are guessing that the SWAT were trying to destroy those evidence (Aquino ordered them to do so)
I feel very disappointed for what their government, their people have done to us.
Actually, I have more to tell but I would open another post as it involves some video clips. (the first hostage killed was the "leader" of that tourist group, the media has been reporting that he was killed by the gunman. BUT IT WAS NOT) <--- I will open another post for this
I really hope CNN can report this news, letting more people know the real truth.
