Cuba is a beautiful country with beautiful people. The best way to describe it is that there is so much "texture." Contrary to what some would want us to believe, Cuban people are not hostile to Americans. I have found them to be warm, humble, welcoming and family oriented. The countryside is gorgeous. The cities are full of marvelous buildings with colonial Spanish architecture. The colors and subjects are a photographer's dream.
An interesting note: The typewriter is Ernest Hemingway's in the tower of his home outside Havana, Finca Vijia.
