Last Sunday, when I started my day, I spotted a dead bird and when I went home, I spotted a dead dragonfly.
I’ve been thinking and researching on what is the meaning of this. Is it a warning?
In many cultures, bird represents the soul while dragonfly is a subject of intrigue around the world because it represents different meaning. – Dragonfly represents maturity and depth of character; power and poise; defeat of self created illusions; focus of living” in” a moment; in Australia and Europe it is associated with the evil; and in Sweden folklore, dragonflies came to earth to check bad souls and they sneak up adults to curse.
Yesterday, I am trying to connect the meaning of the hostage crisis with what I saw last Sunday. I try to imagine myself as the hostage taker and I realize that I can also do what he does with that kind of frame of mind. (He was dismissed from job and I am burn out of work.)
Death of a bird and dragonfly means I should let go of all bad accessories in my life - death of a bitter soul.
After death, there’s reincarnation of a new bird and dragonfly with a positive soul, maturity and depth of character.
