Probably the most famous hotel in Cuba, it's where old Hollywood and current international VIP stay. Inside, you feel like you've stepped back into the 1940s. Of note, my stay in Cuba happened during the Haiti Earthquake a few hundred miles away. But due to limited media in the country, I didn't learn about the devastation until my return home.
