   Dated 9/24/2010 INVESTIGATORS ARREST LOCAL MAN ON FELONY DRUG CHARGES Terry Wayne Wells      Baxter County Sheriff's Investigators today arrested a rural Baxter County man on felony drug charges following an investigation into narcotics trafficking in the area.   Terry Wayne   Wells ,  56 years old of Mountain Home , was taken into custody at his home at 163 Datson Trail at approximately 9:50 AM when Sheriff's Investigators served a search warrant on the property.      Sheriff's Investigators had made three controlled buys of marijuana from  Terry Wells  during the past month amounting to approximately four (4) ounces in all.  A warrant was obtained for  Wells'  arrest, along with a search warrant for his residence and property.      During today's search, Sheriff's Investigators seized approximately four (4) additional ounces of packed and processed marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia, approximately $1,300 in cash, and multiple firearms.        Terry Wells  was transported to the Baxter County Detention Center on the following charges:      Delivery of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana - (3 counts) - Felonies      Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled Subst - Marijuana - Felony      Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia - Felony      Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms - Felony       Wells  was released from custody after posting bail in the amount of $50,000.  He will appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on October 7th for arraignment.      Assisting the Sheriff's Office with the arrest and search was the Arkansas State Police - CID Unit. /s/ John F.
