Calibre Educational foundations’ annual learning symposium is being conducted in aasociation with IIT Madras.

The topics are adolescent psychology and pre primary and primary reading and technology in education
speakers from America Singapore and Kanpur Particitipated.

Hon’ble Minister For  School  Education Thiru Thangam Thennarasu graced the symposium with his presence.

He gave away scholarships to two students studying at Calibre Academy ( a unit of the Calibre Educational Foundation) only based on their economic status namely miss Karishini Veerabahu and master Sudharshan of Std., 7 and Std., 5 respectively.

Speaking at the symposium the Hon’ble Minister stated how important it was for a teacher to be a facilitator only for the children, and that Govt. Schools of Chennai are incorporating technology into the classrooms
on seeing Mrs Madhuvanthi Arun ( correspondent Calibre academy) become emotional about the scholarship of the student Karishini he said that this demonstrated in a moment what a teacher student relationship was  all about
