BRIDGEPORT --Bishop Kenneth Moales was known to be a man of great wisdom. Atleast 5,000 people are expected to attend his funeral next Monday morning at the Arena at Harbor Yard.
On Monday evening, Bishop Kenneth Moales suffered a heart attack two days after celebrating his 65th birthday. Earlier this year he delivered the eulogy for the popular Gospel Recording Artist Walter Hawkins. He presided as an overseer of churches in the states of Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. He was also President of the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses, Inc. which recently celebrated their 77th year of Gospel music ministry. He was inducted into the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum for his many years of committed work in Gospel music.
Bishop Kenneth Moales, Sr. is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lady Peggy Ann Moales, three children, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
