Song written after my son Robert, who was friends with Reiss, shared his pain with me, and the story of how this young man originally from Hanna Wyoming lost his life in Iraq. I could not shake the images and two days later this song just poured out, like a "fax from God." It's the best I can do to honor this true American hero. Les Bowron, Nashville TN 9/21/10
