As the news headlines today are playing the video of the father who got on a school bus in Florida and threatened the kids bullying his daughter, I am not surprised and frankly think we will see a parent hurt or worse kill a bully soon.
My daughter Elisabeth has been bullied for the last three years and as much as we tried to find a solution, it never has stopped. The school knew, the teachers knew, every student knew, but it still went on.
It is a very terrifying feeling when your child is being viciously bullied. It must be similar to having a child sick with a terminal illness. You search everywhere for answer, you try everything in your power to stop it, and you pray it will not take their life.
Please, use the news media to help us parents and our children before a family is torn apart because one of us is out of options.
