So of these are probably some of the traditional shots of Moscow's but figured why not ...
The one with the Bear is the 'mascot' for one of Russia's largest politcal parties (United Russia), we didn't realize this until May Day (spent in St. Petersberg) but looking back on it it's quite funny - this was taken just outside of Red Square. We loved seeing dozens of Brides in Red Square walking around getting their photos taken and drinking champagne with their wedding entourage. Also, headed inside the Kremlin and was unexpectedly surprised by the pretty butter yellow buildings with tuplips popping up all around, the amount of onion domed churches inside the Kremlin and just the size of the place was impressive to say the least. The photo of the giant cannon was also taken inside the Kermlin. The last image is my husband standing in front of Graffiti that we found near an artist colony, definetly off the tourist beaten path but well worth the dodgy adventure we took to find it!
Over all Moscow's (Russias) history is insane and getting to see it up close was certianly an interesting place to visit, however i would never do it agian ... but that is for another story!
