I remember working at a G.M. production plant in Buffalo, NY. (since retired). I can remember vividly, the exact location, time, and what I was doing. I worked in the gear-making assembly; my coworker was returning from lunch. As he passed my machine,I remember I was hanging a gear on the conveyor system. He looked at me, and said, "the Space Shuttle had just exploded". I felt a sick feeling go thru my body, not fully comprehending what he just told me. It's really amazing how someone can pinpoint the exact moment of an event, and remember that moment in time.
