And as always with Mike Ramsey .When he does not get his way Comes the name Calling Finger pointing acting like a child !.A true sore loser. it is to be expected of him! To act and talk like this ..It is a true embarrassment To the people of Butte County When Mike Ramsey does not get his way! .But its only the local news .Here in this interview Mike Ramsey goes on to call the Catalyst Executive Director Anastacia Snyder A liar weeks of controversy over who should receive extra money paid by domestic violence offenders, the Butte County board of supervisors decided domestic violence prevention agency Catalyst could do more good with the money. The funds were previously allocated to the district attorney's office and it's domestic violence counselor.
Catalyst Executive Director Anastacia Snyder said, "We were really excited that the board ruled to support prevention work. I think it was a strong statement that they made that they value the importance of educating the community because they are one component of an approach to ending domestic violence."
District attorney Mike Ramsey said the decision means his office's domestic violence counselor position will likely get the ax. He told Action News, "We're very disappointed that the executive director stooped to lying to get her way in this. We're also rather disappointed that the district attorney's office did all the work for what we considered a very valuable program which we've had the last ten years."
Supervisors Kim Yamaguchi, Jane Dolan and Maureen Kirk voted to give the funds to Catalyst.
"We didn't want to cause a problem between the two of them like it kind of has come out that way, but I think Catalyst can do a better job with the small amount of money and that what I said was I think, 'we'll get a little more bang for our buck' with Catalyst," said Kirk.
Supervisors Bill Connelly and Steve Lambert voted against the motion, stating Ramsey was the one who made the effort to get the money, and he should be able to use it.
