Disbersant is not Disolvent !
The disbersant Corexit causes oil molecules to bind with water molecules and NOT FLOAT TO THE SURFACE
BP was not interested in DISBERSING the oil from the oil slick
BP was interested in HIDING THE OIL from the government and the public
Corexit caused the oil from the Mocando BP oil well to attach itself to the salt water molecules and remain in suspension in the water allowing less oil to come to the surface to be collected
As time passes the Corexit will disolve an allow the oil to seperate from the water to cause another slick
In the mean time the oil along with its hazardous contaminants will remain attached to the water molecules to be ingested by the fish , shrimp , oysters , crabs , dolphins , etc and eventually humans
BP used Corexit to intentionally hide the amount of oil which was coming from the oil well to decrease its fines of $ 4,500 per barrel
Effictively BP will claim responsibility for some 5 , 000 , 000 barrels of oil spilled at $ 4,500 fine per barrel =
$ 22,500,000,000 ( billion )
When in truth BP actually spilled 20,000,000 million barrels @ $ 4,500 per barrel = $ 90,000,000 ,000 ( billion )
Now do you really think BP cares if a few citizens along the gulf coast come down with cancer or die when BP faces the loss of an additional $ 70 BILLION dollors ?
