The Long Journey to University

Imagine that you have to wait long and infinite minutes in the middle of thousands of people to get to university, work or wherever you want to go. This is real and happens in Santiago´s subway, a place where time runs faster and you patience is tested.

In the past, this method of transport was a fast, clean and comfortable way of travelling. Nowadays, with the arrival of the TRANSANTIAGO system, the Chilean subway is not what it used to be in the early days. The wagons are filled with people hurrying to their places of work or study; it has weird smells because of the overcrowding, etc. But the most annoying thing is that the delays of the trains at the stations have been constant and eternal.

Remember, if you are in a hurry, or you have to be on time at some place, don´t take the metro because it is probable that you will be late.   The video attached is an example of an average delay in the Metro. Judge by yourself and calculate the time that you have to wait if you must travel 15 stations (like I do every day.)
