Had a long chat with a girl friend, she's glowing and full of life.I asked her why she's so vibrant, she confided that it's about this goodlooking Latino she has met over the internet. They have been chatting for almost a year now and she's so deep into him.I don't want to sound like a killjoy so i just said best of luck to her.Is it really possible to find true love over the internet? It is but highly improbable.True love is more than just thinking that he/she is beautiful and you like talking to him/her.Even if the other person's being absolutely honest, there are a lot of things that can't be transmitted via IMs or even webcams. The cons outweigh the pros.Ok,the net is great for first-stage dating especially for shy people. In the anonymous stage, the net facilitates honesty/openness.Someone you've met on the net will likely be a stranger to your circle of friends,so if things don't work out,no awkward situations.Rejections are a lot easier to take, since far less personal. Now the disadvantages,no body language,no odor,no intonations etc.You can't learn how he/she behaves towards other people or in different situations,so no variety in settings. Are you ready to get uprooted since you live far apart?Again is it possible for you to fall in love with someone someone you've never met except online?Yes,but that someone is a figment of your imagination. There's a deeper side that still isn't fully understood. It can be good but it's not the best thing to do.You'll find true love when you find it,and true love finds you.I'm waiting for that virtual prince charming who can say"Fairy tales do come true..."
