No, let us not forget what happened nine years ago on September 11, 2001; but let us also not forget what this country is REALLY supposed to be about and those who stand each day fighting for the very rights that we take for granted, use, and abuse.
To all of our service men and women, past, present, and future and to those affected in the events of 9-11, I say both thank you and I am sorry.
Together, we can get past the prejudice, together, we can get past the negative pride, and together, we can continue to help America evolve into what she was meant to be, not what the past has dictated.
