Suzanne Malveaux is a White House correspondent for CNN and primary substitute anchor for The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer. Based in the Washington, D.C., bureau, Malveaux joined the network in May 2002.

Today, August 9, 2010, Suzanne was sitting in for Wolf Blitzer and asked an interviewee why the administration was paying so much attention to the Florida minister who planned a burning of Qurans. Suzanne stated that the minister only had about 50 followers so why was he receiving the attention?

It would seem that Suzanne was unaware of the impact that the possible Quran burning would have on the millions of Muslims around the world, and the possible negative results on the U.S. due to increased hatred and increased radicalization of young muslims around the world.

Perhaps Suzanne is well aware of all that, and only wanted her visitor to give an opinion in this matter. However, it came across as possible ignorance on the part of Suzanne, herself.
