During a recent interview on CNN Imam made the statement if the Islamic Center and Mosque are not built it will be received by the Muslims as an attack on Islam. He in the same breath spoke of peace between the faiths.
On September 11, 2001 Islam made it's intentions clear when more than 3000 people lost their lives to the cowadly attack on unknowing vicitms.
The Koran States
"The Woman: 4.89 They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they fly in Allah's way; but if they turn their backs, then seize them and kill them, where ever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper."
Imam states there is no metion of killing non believers in the Koran, yet stated above is a passage taken straight from the Koran. I believe Imam to be decitful, and a liar.
While in Gainsville Florida a preacher is planning a Koran burning on September 11th, Imam is telling America if you don't allow the Islamic Center and Mosque to be built it will be an attack on Islam. The stage is being set for a possible Holy War against Christains and Muslims.
It seems to me Imam is warning Americans if we do not submit to the Islamic Center and Mosque construction we are attacking Islam, there by giving them a right to attack America again.
He has already stated in past interviews he believes America got what it had coming because of the policies we have had in the past. I do believe we are going to be faced with more attacks as this comflict of faiths becomes more and more pronounced.
