Habibollah Golparipour’s Death Sentence Upheld in Mahabad

RAHANA: Habibollah Golparipour,a Sanandaj resident, has been served with his execution sentence in Mahabad Prison.

According to the Mokrian News Agency, he has been held in Sanandaj and Mahabad detention centers for a long time. He had previously been convicted of Moharebeh (waging war againt God) for membership in an anti-regime group and sentenced to death based on Article 186 and 190 of the Islamic Penal Code. The Supreme Court has upheld his death sentence.
