This is a photograph that I took of what I thought were mythological creatures in a local wild life refuge hidden deep into the woods. Narcissus and Charon made an apearance that misty day and I was lucky enought to have my camera
Narcissus was the beautiful youth who was in love with his reflection in the water. He shuned others who tried to love him and as a punishment he wasted away and died, unable to leave his reflection behind in the water.
Charon was a water loving dog who escorted dead souls across the river Styx to Hades.
