One of the important aspects of the Islamic religion or way of life is that our Faith is not complete until we act upon it. True faith by the tongue has to be followed by action and practice. There are many ways by which Muslims put their faith into practice… Giving charity is one of them. Charity can be given at any time, but it is highly encouraged during the month of Ramadan.
In Egypt, there is a Muslim charity organization called ‘Resala’ that makes an extra effort to provide to those in need during Ramadan. The following videos clips were taken during a recent visit to one of the villages outside of Cairo’s metropolitan area.
