A new jetty and two boat ramps have been built at Port Kennedy, Western Australia.
The waters here are renound for wildlife, with dolphins, seals and penguins frequenting the area. There have also been Hammer Head, Tiger and Great White sharks in the area. The area is considered an outstanding place for fishing and boating in the calm clear waters of Warnbro Sound Marine Park.
It is the first time boats will be able to launch from the area since the beach was closed to vehicles in the 1990's due to a proposed marina. The marina hasnt gone ahead because of environmental problems it would cause.
