Wild Adventures celebrated Labor Day weekend by hosting Red, White and you event over the weekend. Fire companies from Lowndes, Valdosta and Moody AFB had apparatus on display and hosted demonstrations during the day. Also on display was Lowndes County Sheriff Department, US Marines Booth, Valdosta PD command truck and a Life Flight Helicopter. The demonstrations captivated young children as well as adults. The Lowndes County fire department gave a display with the Jaws Of Life showing how victims can be extracted from a car, The Valdosta Fire Department gave a high angle rescue demonstration as well as showing off the departments disaster rescue vehicle and the Valdosta Police department displayed the city's portable command center truck. It was all part of Wild Adventures way of saying thank you to the men and women who serve in our country and their community Emergency Services.
