I Believe in God, But Not the "Scriptures!"

I believe that the elements that sustain Life  were created by God. But I don't believe in the "Scriptures" that were created by Man.  It's convoluted, but one would have to believe that a supreme being created the elements of nature, and the biological life that exist from it resources. That is my comprehension of God existence. Scriptures, and Biblical Testaments, I believe is a figment of man's imagination, from dreams, delusions and hypothesis. Scriptures lack credibility by interpretations and descriptions of events that simply cannot be proven or validated. They are distorted, contradictory and overly exaggerated to influence and to create dominance over other human beings. The statement that "Man" was created in the image of God is simply unbelievable. To fathom that we are characteristic of God's behavior is complete insanity. To believe that, we would have to assume that God, like ourselves is a violent, corrupt, murderous animalistic creature that we are. It would mean that God is evil, jealous, conniving, deceptive, hateful and prejudicial. That does not define a benevolent supreme being or creator, which we acknowledge God to be. Scriptures are written in many languages, from different periods of time and by different ethnicity of people. Just like the different denomination of religious practices, whereas each entity proclaim to be the divine method of worship. Scriptures are equated to "Political" speeches, designed purposely to mislead and manipulate the conscious of men and women. Many us are gullible, and vulnerable to literary propaganda, and basically, that is all biblical scriptures are. I believe that there is a God, but my reasons for doing so is not influence by what's written by prophets, ministers, priests or pagans. It's based on my ability to comprehend that which exist, from the skies, to the oceans, and all which exist between them.
