I married Gwilym in June of 2004 after knowing his for years. We welcomed a son in 2005 and like many young couples we looked forward to moving, going to school, and having a little girl in the future. When he was killed in 2007, my world ended. He was everything to me. He was my partner, my confidante, my helper, but most importantly he was my best friend. In the years following his death, I have watched our son grow up into a wonderful little boy who is the spitting image of his father. I can't help but be sad at the fact that he will never know the wonderful man that his father was. Time has made us move on but I will always miss those beautiful eyes that expressed every emotion and that big smile that was always on display. I miss the practical jokes he used to play and the little talks we would have where we would figure out the world. I know he will always be with us and that he is proud. He lived every day fully and loved the same. He is my hero and will always be.
