There are not just protests taking place at Ground Zero. Across the country, people are trying to turn America in hallowed ground post-911. Several years ago in Boston there were protests over the construction of a mosque and we see it in other states. Every decade we find a new group to scapegoat and now it's Muslims. If we took time to learn about Islam before these tragedies occurred, we wouldn't be so quick to condemn an entire group of people. Ground Zero is really just talking point which represents our greater overall ignorance and hostility towards Islam. For that reason, construction of a new mosque anywhere in America is a problem. If someone lives in Florida and lost a victim in 911, they could say that is the reason they oppose a mosque in Florida because it brings back memories. This is wrong. We should listen to the people who loss family in 911 who support this idea and let the mosque be built because this country should stick to its principles and not have freedom of religion for everyone except Muslims. That's not true freedom at all.
