Former First Daughter Barbara Bush recently posed for V Magazine, on their "New York Socialites" article.
As of now, the 28 year old Bush runs a public health charity in New York.
Celebrity Photographer Terry Richardson took photos of selected high society figures in a 70’s inspired photo shoot with other socialites; Tinsley Mortimer’s sister Minnie and designers Rachel Roy and Shoshanna Gruss (got famous for dating Jerry Seinfeld once.)
V Magazine stylists Stevie Nicks and Anjelica Huston dolled up Bush, with an Ali McGraw inspired look, in a white button down shirt, swirly golden neck piece, and navy blue bell bottoms.
However, among all socialites, Bush got the most rants and raves from netizens.
In a yahoo article, comments about her physique seemed a bit offensive by name-calling her, as a “nazi”, or “She got her father’s evil eyes.”
Others suggest her to get a surgery, while others mocked her father.
“i used to underage drink at the place they got caught underage drinkin at. margaritas with nacho bar. pretty good. back when ol daddy was doin small time murdering of inmates, before murdering foreigners, according to user “P”.
Others came into Bush’s defense and a certain user named “Embrean” said,“Those who have dissed Barbara are rude, no one chooses what they look like unless they have money to change it (though it is stupid to do so), and any other man or woman that can model for something has guts to do so whether or not people will mock them or not..... So in my view Barbara is very brave just for doing this, congrats girl.,”
However there’s no issue for a politician’s kid to sulk in showbizness.Even Gerald Ford’s son Steven Ford became an actor and even appeared in the chick flick “When Harry Met Sally,” with award-winning actress Meg Ryan. Chelsea Clinton’s wedding made it to the cover of the People Magazine, and Ron Reagan Jr. once hosted Saturday Night live after his father’s last term in the office.
