On Aug. 25, the American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) hosted members of the Chicago Faith Coalition for Middle East Policy for an interfaith iftar.
The Faith Coalition was formed in response to Israel's attack on Lebanon in 2006. Today, the group advocates for "advocate for a fair and balanced U.S foreign policy that promotes the well-being, security and economic prosperity of Israelis and Palestinians," according to its website.
AMP's mission is to educate the American public about Palestine and its rich, cultural heritage.
