scary warnings, disaster movies, hate talk, war mongering...does man have the power to create his own prophecies? these days we are really into that.
there used to be TV shows and movies which featured decent family values and there was a moral and positive message in each story. that was until the 80s. then something changed when people flock to watch reality shows, even more cruel than reality itself.
my question is if we have the power to actually create reality from movies like "the perfect storm".
the Bible asks us to think of wholesome things that are beneficial for us. negative emotuions cause sickness, and lately i get flare-ups of irritable bowel syndrom and insomnia, probably due to the fact that i watch and read NEWS and fears, negative opinions and predictions.
i thiink there is a difference in being informed and getting too much involved emotionally.
time for a change.
