Back in 04 for my parents 50th wedding anniversary we decided to rent out every room at the old Wrigley mansion on Catalina Island for a weekend. The mansion is now a bed and breakfast inn calle the inn at Mt Ada. The view of the bay from the building is spectacular. Since we had the whole place to ourselves we had the feeling that this was our own vacation home. The Inn provided every room with it's own golf cart (full sized vehicles are strictly monitored on the island). We had such a great time we try to go ovr there as a family every 2 years. Here's some pictures from 09 when we went there last.
Last time we all went snorkeling in the clear waters. The only mishap was a fish bit our grand daughters finger mistaking it for food. We also went on the glass bottomed boat for those in the family who don't like to get wet.
