Police released a brief statement and indicate that "Detectives have established that Williams has an extensive criminal history in Prince George’s County, Maryland".
A search of his convictions reveal two non-violent misdemeanor charges. This statement bears absolutely no relevance to the crime that has been committed. The insensititvity to family and friends by shedding a negative light on a vitim of a such a heinous crime is unconscionable.
