Allegaint Airlines VERY POOR

We booked a flight out of Myrtle Beach on Allegaint airways Aug.27th and tried to check in on line 24 hrs prior to the flight. We were instructed checkin had to be done at the airport. After standing in the checkin line for over a half hour, we found that no one was working the check in. Another words it was closed. We finally found someone to get us our boarding passes and we headed to our gate where no agent was there to let us on. We watched our flight still hooked up to the ramp along with two U.S.Air gate agents who saw everything. We beat on the windows & door to get someone's attention when a TSA agent showed up  and wanted to know what's going on .We showed him our plane & pleaded for his help. He couldn't locate allegaint's gate person to open the door either.And after over 15 minutes of trying to board, we all watched our flight unhook from the ramp backing out and push off. There was still no Allegaint Rep around.We called Allegaints main office, and there  responce was,"TOO BAD"

Now we had plenty of timed to board our plane and and a little time to spare.

This is what Allegaint sent to me: " Aircraft doors will close at 10 minutes prior to scheduled departure to ensure an on-time departure. I apologize, however, if you are not at these locations at the time specified you do risk forfeiting the funds for your flight."

We were there at least 20 minutes before our schedule flight. Allegaint Air is very poorly run with NO agents or customer service available. VERY POOR, We really needed to be on that flight.
