Claire Danes caling the country "a ghastly place".And who could forget about this Chinese journalist Chip Tsao whose “racist slur” about the Philippines being a Nation of Servants caused a huge uproar.There is a thin line separating satire and insult,it is just how we interpret it.We shouldn’t take barbs sitting down,but do it in such a way that they will realize that the Philippines is not a land of barren attitude.Exchanging tirades is just a waste of time.We are a great nation,no doubt about that.Filipino expertise is very much needed all over the world,based on the number of skilled workers abroad.The Filipino evolution is remarkable and is something that we, Filipinos should be proud of.
